چکیده
The accurate prediction of coupled inductive and capacitive effects in electromagnetic coils is crucial importance many industrial applications, due to the increase operating frequency or voltage levels. In this paper, we propose a light-weight electric circuit model that avoids solving large 3D Maxwell full-wave problem, still able predict not only first resonance but also next few resonances as accurately experimental characterizations would do. resistive, lumped parameters magnetic device are identified by means 2D finite element modelling, then implemented an realises inductive-capacitive coupling. Moreover, parameter identification can be performed at different levels representation coils, from turn-level winding-level, order resolve additional system, keeping computational complexity compatible with design requirements. efficiency method confirmed simulations measurements on high transformer air inductance.

Passage of High-frequency Signals through Power Transformers
We consider the possibility of passing high-frequency signals past power transformers forming part of an electrical grid. We first model a transformer, including its laminated core, to obtain asymptotic behaviour of currents and voltages in the secondary circuit. Having got this we are able to determine the effects of different by-pass mechanisms which might be tried to get the high-frequency s...
متن کاملLumped Parameter Model for High Frequency Partial Discharge Estimation in High Voltage Transformer
Lumped Parameter Model is well known in solving high frequency signal propagation in high voltage transformer windings. At Southampton University, the modelling technique has been improvised and employed to solve partial discharge (PD) problem occurred within deep inside transformer windings. Firstly, a lumped capacitive parameter model was considered and secondly a transmission line lumped par...

متن کاملSome Applications of Screw Theory to Lumped-Parameter Modeling of Visco-Elastically Coupled Rigid Bodies
This work considers the problem of modeling visco-elastically coupled rigid bodies, with application to modeling and computer simulation of spatial, flexural mechanisms. Two modeling methods are presented, both of which use elements of screw theory and dual number calculus. The potential utility of the methods is demonstrated by simulating the behavior of a complex spatial, flexural mechanism. ...
متن کاملSynthesis of lumped dual-frequency impedance transformers for complex loads using inverters
Novel lumped dual-frequency impedance transformers (DFITs) for arbitrary frequency dependent complex loads (FDCLs) are synthesized using the concepts of capacitive and inductive inverters. Such a dual-frequency impedance transformer is constructed with one Pi-shaped lumped inverter and two shunt susceptance blocks at two sides, and get simplified after susceptance merging. The shunt susceptance...
